Hi,

How do I plot a vertilcal line as an indicator? Is there a custom indicator that can plot a vertical line based on a certain condition? eg. Will plot a vertical line when at the highest or lowest close? Am not looking to use the drawing tools.

Thanks

Hi VFT,

The method name is 'VERTLINE', so, for example, if you have calulated a data array of buy signals (in the array buy=1, rest=0), then you could draw a vertical line at every buy signal with the following code:

VERTLINE(BUY)

or, if using a method like ISUP that is true when the closing price of a candle is higher than the opening, the formula would be:

VERTLINE(ISUP)

The VERTLINE method is not listed in the available drawing methods when compiling a custom indicator, but it does work and we will try and correct the list.
