 The following code -(but this applies to everything I have tried) does not do as requested. Instead of plotting black it plots Green (or ? some random colour). Any suggestions?

v10 : 100*v2 /(v3+v4),ColorBlue,Width2,HighQuality;
v11 : ma(v10,5), ColorBlack,Width1,HighQuality;

What does HighQuality refer to - ie is there a PoorQuality etc?

I agree. I use a MA crossover and need specific colours for each MA. I have to load 10 MA's, then delete the ones with the colours I dont want and then edit the remaing 3 ma settings.

Hi deejay and Snakepit

The best way to use colors for custom indicators is rather via the chart itself and not by coding it in the custom indicators.

You can activate the following context menu if you right click somewhere on the indicator:

If you choose “Line Properties”, the following form will appear.

You can set the color, width and style of the indicator here.

Deejay, in your case, your custom indicators should then look like this:

v10 : 100*v2 /(v3+v4);

v11 : ma(v10,5);
